Property for sale in El Tanque, Tenerife

El Tanque is a small municipio in the northern part of Tenerife, quite high up and rural. Much of the property for sale that we reviewed were detached houses, either modern or tradional. The area is popular with those who want a quiet existence with views and walks. Because of its altitude some days in the winter can be wet and cold, although its only a 10 minute drive down to Garachico or Icod de los Vinos for the warm weather.

The properties surveyed in our report are detached houses, and here we have seen price falls of 7% on average during the last six months. Other types of properties were found but the sample sizes were too small for a detailed analysis.
