Property for sale in the South of Tenerife

Properties for sale in the South of Tenerife currently number about 6,000, covering the areas from Candelaria in the South East round the coast via El Medano through to Los Cristianos, Adeje, and the muncipality of Santiago del Teide, including the areas of Los Gigantes and Playa de la Arena.

Prices in this region have fallen on average by 3.48% in the last six months as pùblished in our Guide of April 2008. Add general inflation over the last six months and we arrive at real reductions in property values of 5,6%. This is the average, and within this region some areas are seeing price growth and some are seeing bigger price falls.

We examined 6,250 properties for sale across the whole of Tenerife, and some 2,400 properites for sale in the South and South East of Tenerife. These properties for sale were classified by property type and by town and areas within the towns. For example one bedroom apartments, two bedroom apartments, three bedroom detached houses, and information is provided on average prices, lower quarter prices, and higher quarter prices so that you can work  what you will have to pay for a property and what your target should be in terms of purchase price. 

In the Guide you will see the price trends or changes in prices over the last six months so you really know what is going on and you can judge for yourself what is a bargain, what is overpriced, and you can then set your target price and negotiate to it armed with market facts.

The properties for sale that we have assessed in the South of Tenerife include all these areas: Adeje, including El Duque, Fanabe, Callao Salvaje, Playa Paraiso, and La Caleta; Arona including Las Americas and Los Cristianos; Arico and Fasnia; Candelaria; Granadilla including Los Abrigos, and El Medano; Guia de Isora including Alcala and Playa de San Juan; Guimar; San Miguel including Las Galletas; and Santiago del Teide, including Los Gigantes, and Playa de la Arena.
